In 1994 I began my clinical practice in Westchester. I have been an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at New York Medical College since 2013.

THE MIND-BODY CONNECTION

My interest in Neuroscience and evidenced based treatment for trauma led me to expand my clinical training on resiliency building. In order to focus on mind-body wellness I initially studied with Yoganand Michael Carroll at The Kripalu Center for Yoga and Healing in 2016. I learned about the neurobiologic benefits of yoga and continued in the Pranakriya traditition and obtained my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at the Pranakriya School of Yoga and Healing Arts.

I am registered with the Yoga Alliance and completed my Trauma Informed Training through Exhale to Inhale. I feel privileged to bring the healing practice of trauma-informed yoga to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault as a teacher for Exhale to Inhale. I also offer private virtual livestream yoga classes and guided meditations.
